| Just in case you didn’t
know it, Lodi has been a major winegrape growing region
since the 1850's. Today, the area has more than 75,000
acres of winegrapes, farmed by over 750 growers and
comprises 18% of California's total winegrape production
- more than Napa and Sonoma Counties combined.
And if that’s not all, Lodi leads
all other California wine districts in the production
of the top five premium wine varieties – Chardonnay,
Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, and Zinfandel.
It’s no mistake that Leaping Horse
makes Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and White
Zinfandel. Oh, let’s not forget their “down
under” cousin Shiraz! |
